Sideman
Elsiris
Elsiris takes you gently by the hand, guiding you through the lyrical compositions of pianist Jasmien Geijsels. Together with Élie Goulème and Pierre-Antoine Savoyat the trio forms a close-knit entity where improvisation can be playful as well as profound. Their melancholic melodies and soundscapes, evoking cinematic images, result in a delicate and immersive experience.
Elsiris leaves an imprint on its listener. Some compositions carry the name of a fictional character, who have their own layered personality that continues to evolve just like a human of flesh and blood. Do they remain a mystery or can they be fathomed over time? Other compositions embody a deep connection with nature, the feeling of being a part of something bigger, as well as a connection between people.

Stephane Galland & the Rhythm Hunters
‘A unique exploration of rhythmical territories’
The Rhythm Hunters was born to transmit Stéphane Galland's musical journey with other musicians. The goal is to integrate rhythmic principles from his travels to different parts of the world into a personal musical language.
The Rhythm Hunters is a sequel to Stéphane’s previous project “(the mystery of) Kem”.
The objective is to explore different approaches to rhythm, that seem unusual and complex at first and to integrate them into a fluid musical discourse. This process requires extensive collective work, so that the whole group becomes familiar with these new rhythmic concepts and challenges.

The group creates and develops its modern jazz universe, halfway between post-bop jazz heritage, free jazz and pop/rock colours. In October 2017, the acclaimed release of their debut album Sweet Day confirmed them on this journey, and they performed all over Belgium.
In March 2019, Thomas gave the band a new direction, inviting one of the most prominent musicians on the New York scene in recent years, trumpeter Adam O'Farrill.
